Penetrating Crystallizing Waterproof Coating is a rigid powder waterproof material composed of Portland cement, selected quartz sand, and various active chemical substances. Its core concept is not "physical coverage," but rather "chemical penetration and crystallization." When mixed with water, its active chemical substances, carried by water, penetrate into the capillaries and microcracks within the concrete (typically reaching depths of tens of centimeters). They react chemically with unhydrated cement particles and hydration products in the concrete, generating water-insoluble dendritic fibrous crystals. These crystals effectively fill and seal the pores and cracks in the concrete, making it denser and achieving permanent waterproofing, reinforcement, and resistance to chemical corrosion. Core Working Principle (Chemical Penetration Crystallization) Penetration: After coating application, its active chemical substances penetrate into the concrete structure under the influence of water. Reaction: The active substances undergo a catalytic reaction with free calcium, oxides, etc., in the concrete. Crystallization: The reaction generates water-insoluble silicates (hydrated crystals), which can grow and multiply within the micropores and cracks of the concrete. Self-healing: This is the most unique feature of this product. Even if new micro-cracks appear in the concrete structure due to shrinkage, settlement, etc., once water enters, the unreacted active substances inside will be reactivated, generating new crystals that "automatically heal" the cracks, achieving permanent waterproofing. Main Product Features Feature Description Permanent Waterproofing: The crystallization reaction is permanent; the waterproof layer's lifespan is the same as the concrete structure's, and it will not age or deteriorate. Self-healing Ability: It can automatically repair micro-cracks caused by structural changes, which is unmatched by roll materials and flexible coatings. Water Pressure Resistance, Back-side Application: The crystalline layer can resist very high hydrostatic pressure and can be applied to the back side (such as the inside of a basement) with significant results. Good Breathability: It fills pores but does not seal all capillaries, allowing the concrete to "breathe." Internal moisture can evaporate, preventing blistering and peeling. Reinforced Concrete: Filling the pores increases the density of the concrete, improving its compressive strength. Environmentally Friendly and Non-toxic: The main components are inorganic substances, making it safe and environmentally friendly for use in drinking water tanks, reservoirs, and other projects. Protects Reinforcing Steel: Effectively prevents water and chloride ions from corroding the reinforcing steel by blocking pores. Easy to Apply: Apply directly to the concrete substrate; surface requirements are low (must be damp and firm), no leveling or protective layer required.
